Lessons at Piece of Paradise Farm
A limited number of lesson spots are available in the fall term.
Safety is always first at Piece of Paradise Farm.
Students are taught all aspects of riding, with safety being the first and most important. The gold standard for safety and riding instruction is the United States Pony Club model. Being an upper level rated graduate of United States Pony Club I have benefited from top notch instruction, local and national competitions and have taught using thePony Club model. With this background, I am prepared to teach the beginning student of any age up to advanced students who would like to compete at higher levels.
I teach riding in a holistic way. Before their lessons, my students bring their horse in, then groom, tack up; after the lesson we take the saddle and bridle off, and groom the horse. All aspects of riding are covered beyond the lesson. This is accomplished in a fun, enjoyable atmosphere according to the individual student’s abilities, strengths and goals. My students learn to ride, not just stay on.
Helmets are mandatory for all whenever mounted. It is recommended that you have your own helmet.
Lessons are offered on your horse or on one of ours.
Private Lessons 1 hour $40
Private Lessons 1/2 hour $30
Group lessons of 3 riders 1 hour $30 each student. Group lessons are offered according to student's ability.
At your request, Piece of Paradise Farm will assist you in the Exercising and Training of your horse.
Exercising / Training Ride 1 hour $40
Exercising / Training Ride 1/2 hour $30
In addition
Show Day Coaching $50
Trailering your horse to an event is available on a limited basis
Sales 10% commission $500 minimum.
Please contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson. When I am handling horses or teaching for the safety of the students, horses and myself I am not able to answer the phone. The best way to contact me with questions is by email and I will reply as soon as I can.

Lesson cancellation policy:
Once scheduled your lesson time is reserved for you. If you can not attend your lesson please give 24 hour notice so someone else can have the pleasure of riding. Less than 24 hour notice * and NO SHOWS will be charged for their lesson fee.
If you cancel or NO SHOW 2 times in 5 weeks your time will be given to someone else. You may call when you are available and lessons may be scheduled as lesson times are available.
